Best Fluffy and Crispy Vegan Waffles
Our vegan waffles are made with whole food ingredients, meaning they are a great source of fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
Whole food ingredients also provide slow-release energy, which can help keep you feeling energized and focused throughout the morning.
Ingredients
Flax Eggs
- 1/4 cup Ground Flaxseeds
- 1/2 cup of water
Vegan Buttermilk
- 3 1/2 cups of Vegan Milk
- 2 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 cup melted Vegan Butter
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups Oat Flour
- 2 cups Almond Flour
- 1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 Tbsp Baking Powder
- 1/3 cup Monkfruit Sugar
- 1 tsp Himalayan Salt or Sea Salt
Directions
Make the Flax Eggs
In a small bowl combine the ground flax and water and set aside.
Make the Vegan Buttermilk
In a large bowl combine the milk, the apple cider vinegar, the Vanilla Extract and the Vegan Butter.
Stir, set aside and let it curdle.
Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl mix together the flour, Baking Powder, Monkfruit, Sugar, and the Himalayan Salt or Sea Salt.
Then add the Flax Eggs and the Vegan Buttermilk to the dry ingredients. Stir until all ingredients are mixed.
The batter should be fairly thick. If it’s too runny, add a few tablespoons more flour. It it’s too thick, add a little extra Vegan Milk.
Heat up the waffle iron, spray it with some olive oil or coconut oil. Pour the recommended amount of batter onto the waffle iron and cook the waffle until it’s golden brown on both sides.
Serve with Organic Maple Syrup and Fresh Fruits.
