Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding
Chocolate chia pudding is so simple to make and heavenly delicious. It’s one of the easiest healthy dessert recipes you can make with no baking. It’s creamy, chocolatey, indulgent and yet, loaded with nutrients.
Prepare this the night before for a decadent and healthy breakfast or snack, you can’t go wrong either way.
A winner recipe that you’ll make again and again.
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons of cacao powder
- 2-3 Tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of Vegan milk (nut, hemp, soy)
- 1/4 cup of chia seeds
Directions
1. In a medium size bowl add the Vegan milk and cacao powder and stir until mixed together.
2. Mix in the maple syrup, and the vanilla extract.
3. Add the chia seeds and stir until mixed.
4. Leave the mixture in the bowl for about 10-15 minutes so the chia seeds can gel, but stir frequently to prevent any clumps.
5. After 15 minutes whisk well one more time.
6. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for a minimum of 4 hours or overnight.
7. Remove the chocolate chia pudding from the fridge, stir once more with a spoon.
8. Serve in dessert glasses.
9. Top with your favorite fruit, chocolate shavings, or chopped nuts.
